Wheathill Ramble

Malcolm Gulliver and David Speed are organising the first ramble of 2025 around the Wheathill Golf Club TA117HG
We will meet at 9:30am in the Car Park of the Golf Club which is just off the B3153 to the east of the Lyford on Fosse traffic lights. Please go into the clubhouse and pay for your food at the bar.
There are four choices for food.
1) Home cooked ham, double egg and chips £11.50
2) Battered fish and chips with peas and tartare sauce £14
3) Beef and ale pies with new potatoes and seasonal veg £14
4) No chicken and mushroom pie (vegan) with new potatoes and vegetables £14
There are three pudding options at £6 served with a choice of cream, ice cream or custard.
1) Apple pie (vegan)
2) Lemon cheesecake
3) Bread and butter pudding
The walk will leave at 9:45am and is mostly on quiet roads between the Cary and Brue rivers. The exact route will be determined nearer the date after consideration of the ground conditions. There will be no significant hills
The plan is to return by 12.00pm for lunch in the clubhouse.at 12.30pm.
You are very welcome to use the changing rooms of the club if the weather is unkind.
