We will meet at 9:15am in the Car Park of the Halfway House at Pitney TA10 9AB which is on the B3153 between Somerton and Langport. Please park at the far end of the car park.

Pitney Ramble

David Speed and Hugh Pearce are organising the September Ramble from Pitney to High Ham and back.
We will meet at 9:15am in the Car Park of the Halfway House at Pitney TA10 9AB which is on the B3153 between Somerton and Langport. Please park at the far end of the car park.
The walk will leave at 9:30am and heads through orchards to High Ham past the last remaining thatched windmill in England. The walk then returns to the pub via Low Ham passing a Gothic style Church. There is one steep hill but no stiles and the walk is mostly on quiet roads.
The plan is to return by 12.00pm for lunch in the marque of the Halfway House at 12.30pm.
