Please Take special note of the parking Information
We will meet at 9:45am in the Long Stay Car Park in Cox’ Yard Somerton, which has a charge of £1 for 5 hours. The long stay car park is in the back corner of the car park behind the Coop. The nearest Post code is TA11 7PR. There are public toilets in the car park.
Non walkers can park in the main car park which has a 2 hour limit.
The walk is approximately 5 miles, mostly on hard surfaces with a short stretch along the banks of the River Cary. There is a hill down to the River which unfortunately means an uphill section. There are no stiles.
The plan is to return by 12.00pm for lunch in the Globe Inn TA11 7LX at 12.30pm. Please email for menu.
